Sortation Tables

Sortation tables allow the operator to process multiple customer orders from one master coil.

The minimum requirement for sortation tables is usually for a two-position shuttle car to give an option for sorting mults into burr-up/burr-down, to sort two different mult sizes, or to pick out reject mults.

• 4-, 6-, 8- or 12-position turntables.
• 2- or 3-position shuttle cars.
• Smooth rotation by VFAC motor driven pinion and gear (no chains) for better positioning accuracy.
• Precision center bearing
• Table supported by floor mounted rollers and precision center bearing.
• Piping/conduit can be run on the floor beneath the table.
• Table position indexing, from one position to any other, is automatic by shortest route.
• Automatic skid placer option is available.
• Auto indexing provided to any position

Shuttle Cars

Shuttle cars provide an alternative to sortation tables when minimal sorting is required. Shuttle cars may be equipped with either:

• Variable frequency electrical motor drives for smooth, accurate position indexing, or
• Auto indexing
