Skid Strapping Systems
Skid strapping systems secure the stacked mults to the skids. Their features include:
- Incorporates a steel strap system or a plastic strap system.
- Strapping systems can be fully automatic, semi-automatic or manual (as shown below).
- Plastic strapping heads provide a welded joint. There are no fumes with the friction heat type of welded joint.
- Strapping head tools from Signode, Cyklop, Itipack, Titan, Fromme, etc. may be incorporated in the Avon system.
- Steel strapping heads provide a mechanical punched joint, with or without seals, or a welded joint.

- Provide continuous rotation.
- Suspended strapping tools for banding the coils to the skid.
