Coil Stackers

Coil stackers are used to place multiple slit coil mults on one skid and to sort coils into various customer orders. Stackers can be arranged to provide:

  • Inline stacking or right angle configurations are available.
  • The orientation of the stacker is dependent on the customer’s plant layout and material flow.

Features

  • Stackers can handle a range of different coil sizes.
  • They are available with two-point pick-up or four-point pick-up.
  • They are available with “stiff leg” or “swing leg” forks.
  • Multi-coil stacking is available with or without separator fingers.
  • Multi-coil pick-up for high speed stacking.
  • Indexing head stackers available.
  • Stackers can pick up and stack coils using:
  • Coil lift forks
  • Magnet lift heads
  • Vacuum lift heads

Automatic Coil Stackers

Automatic stacking and sorting increase productivity and reduce labor needs.

  • Uses a sortation table or multiple stacking positions.
  • Variable frequency carriage drive for accurate positioning.
  • Automatic mult centering.
  • 90° or in-line stacking onto sortation tables, shuttle cars or conveyor systems.
  • Travel-lift stackers.
  • Combination fork/vacuum/magnetic lift.
